Parkinson’s Queensland Inc. would like to thank all participants and sponsors of the 2009 Qld Walk for Parkinson’s. It was inspirational to see so many members of the community out in force on 6th September to raise money for Parkinson’s disease research and support services.

Over $38,000 net was raised from the event, and the proceeds will help make a difference to the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s disease. Congratulations to Rod Anthonisz for raising the highest amount of money in sponsorship. Next year promises to be even bigger and better! Further details for the 2010 Qld Walk for Parkinson’s will be announced in the coming months.
